Clubs At Seaside Primary
The children in our school are incredibly lucky because teachers at Seaside Primary are always willing to use their time after school to run a whole range of clubs for our pupils. The clubs which are offered change each term, but generally include sports, art or crafts, cooking, computing, science, reading, choir and more.
Clubs run for pupils in Year 1 to Year 6 throughout the year and for Year R pupils from the Spring Term onwards.
Letters are sent home in plenty of time before the start of a new term explaining which clubs are on offer. Slips sent out with this letter need to be completed for clubs run by teachers and returned by the deadline, to allow teachers time to organise club registers etc.
In addition to the clubs run by teachers, we also have a range of clubs run by outside agencies (in blue on the clubs schedule below). These clubs charge a small fee which is always mentioned in the letters. To find out more about these clubs, please look in the 'Local Clubs' section under the 'Parents' tab.
Parents should contact these clubs directly using the contact information sent out with the letters.
When your child has been successful in their choice of club, you will receive a letter from the teacher outlining the times and dates of these. Please make a note of these dates. You will also find a copy of each letter within the Letters Home section entitled Clubs and of course, they will be listed on the calendar on the Home Page. If a club is cancelled at short notice due to bad weather or teacher absence, we will notify you by ParentMail (please make sure you are registered) as soon as we know. It will also be on the website banner and calendar.
