What happens at lunch time?

Reception children have their lunch at 11:20am. They walk down to the large hall with their teachers and Nursery Nurses after washing their hands. The children can have a packed lunch or a hot school dinner.

Remember that all children in Reception, Year One and Year Two are entitled to a free school meal. Details about registering for this are given below. 

Our Nursery Nurses stay with the children whilst they eat and so lunch time is just an extension of the provision that we offer for the rest of the day. This also means that you can be kept updated, if needed, on how well your child is eating. 

After the children have finished their lunch, they go outside to play. Again, this is well supervised by our Nursery Nurses. 

If you have any questions about lunch time, please speak to the school office. They will be happy to advise.

Seaside Primary is a NUT and SESAME FREE school

Please ensure that NO food contains nuts or sesame
