Autumn 2019: Enhancing Playtimes
The pupil governing body had a £1000 budget. After much deliberation, they decided that one of the key aspects that was in need of enhancement was the playground equipment available to children at lunch times.
The governors audited the equipment and then made a request to Mr Murley to purchase some further items. Together, they agreed on the resources they wanted to buy and calculated the total cost.
In total, the governors spent £300 on the equipment and they then explained their decisions to the rest of the school. They planned and delivered an assembly to inform their peers on how the equipment should be used and where it would be stored.
The pupil governors will now meet again to pitch ideas on how to spend the rest of their £700 budget.
